Jane Addams High School will help our students develop a growth mindset through the linking of learning across curriculum and provide students with opportunities to examine diverse points of views. Our mission is to promote a culture of critical, collaborative, and creative thinkers who will be effective communicators to ensure college and career readiness.

My name is Dr. Justin Jackson, and I am proud to be the principal of Jane Addams Continuation High School.  I hope our students had a wonderful summer break and are ready to continue their academic journey toward graduation and post-secondary readiness.  I look forward to working with all of you as your principal, and I will work alongside your teachers, counselors, and support staff to ensure our learners have the best educational experience possible.

Over the summer, our teachers and I had the opportunity to participate in rich professional development experiences that will improve the culture of teaching and learning to benefit our students, from both an academic and socio-emotional perspective.
 
Please note, however, that I do have high expectations for our students, which will include attending school and classes on time, participating in instruction, advocating for themselves, and being proud of their enrollment and opportunities given to them on this campus.
